While emerging artists continually captivate audiences with innovative designs, the true measure of a brand’s success lies in its ability to remain relevant across generations. British design studio PINCH, founded by Russell Pinch and Oona Bannon, has proven its enduring appeal by reaching a significant milestone: two decades of creative excellence. To commemorate this achievement, the studio is hosting a special New York City pop-up event – PINCH in New York – at Jacqueline Sullivan Gallery, showcasing their timeless aesthetic and celebrating their 20-year legacy in the world of design.

Known for their minimalist approach and attention to detail, PINCH has built a reputation for creating pieces that are both functional and aesthetically refined. The pop-up will feature the studio’s most extensive collection to date, including new lighting fixtures: the Faustine table light, Cari wall light, and the Possent pendant light. Additionally, visitors will have the opportunity to view new furniture pieces like the Ellery sideboard, Landry coffee table, and the Colton dining chair – the studio’s second-ever dining chair following the popular Avery chair.

A well-lit dining room features a wooden table with a vase, chairs, a modern chandelier, large arched windows, and a wooden shelf unit against a white brick wall.

By choosing New York as the premier location for their anniversary, Pinch and Bannon pay homage to their loyal American patrons while setting the stage for future growth. This Tribeca showcase is more than an exhibition – they view it as an invitation to experience the poetry of PINCH’s designs as well as a celebration of timeless elegance.

Russell Pinch and Oona Bannon go on to say: “Launching our 20th-anniversary celebration in New York City is an exciting and meaningful step for us. It’s a city we love, which has loved us back, and it’s a city that loves design and elevates space-making as an important element of contented life and a key player in creative business. This pop-up not only allows us to showcase our latest designs but also provides an opportunity to connect more deeply with our American customers, existing and new. We are honored by the support and enthusiasm we have received over the years, and we are eager to share the craftsmanship, timeless elegance, and commitment to dimensional simplicity that has defined PINCH. We are celebrating our last 20 years with an energy and appetite for the next 20 and look forward to sharing that with our customers in New York and back home in London.”

PINCH’s showcase will be on view until October 8th, 2024 at Jacqueline Sullivan Gallery.
